Richardson, Texas Home Values report for November 2014

Year-to-date, home sales have reached 1,356 in all, which is a 9% fall from last year. Home sales this November in Richardson decreased 36%, with 109 properties sold this month.

New listings cumulatively this year decreased 10% compared to the same period last year, with 1,356 properties sold. There were 91 new home properties listed in November of this year, a 17% decrease from last month. Year-to-date, houses sold decreased 9% relative to the same month last year, with 1,280 homes sold during 2014. Listed houses under contract in Richardson went down 35% this November, with 79 houses currently listed under contract. In November of this year, the average sales price was approximately $186,040, which is a 4% increase from the previous month. The average price for a house cumulatively this year went up 10% relative to the same period last year, the average home sales price being $199,455.

Buyers received 96.5% of their asking price in November 2014, which is a 0% increase from the previous month. Buyers got 97.2% of their list price so far this year, which is a 1% gain from a year ago. The days on market until sale during November in Richardson grew 25%, at 49 days on market until sale. So far this year, houses spent about 37 days in the market until sold., which is a 1% gain compared to the same period last year. There was a 1.5 month supply of available homes during November.
