McKinney, Texas Home Values report for November 2015

Homes sold cumulatively this year dipped 3% compared to the same month last year, with 2,624 properties sold this year. McKinney homes sold reached 175 homes this month, which is a 1% decline from the previous month.

This month, the number of new listings in McKinney went up 23%, with 227 properties listed this November. In total for this year, new housing listings are at 3,216 in all. New listings year-to-date increased 1% relative to the same period last year. So far this year, current listings under contract have reached 2,681 in all, which is a 1% dip from a year ago. Listed homes under contract in McKinney dropped 2% this month, with 199 houses currently listed under contract. This November, the average price for a home was about $297,499, a 3% gain from the previous month. The average sales price was approximately $299,018 overall this year, which is a 9% rise from last year.

The percentage of original list prices received by buyers this month climbed 0%, with percentage of original list prices received at 97%. Buyers received 99% of their asking price on average so far this year, which is a 1% rise relative to the same period last year. Year-to-date, housing sales fell 12% compared to the same month last year, at 30 days on market until sale. The days on market until sale was approximately 40 days, a 10% growth from a month ago. The market inventory of available homes was 402 houses, a 8% growth from the previous month.The month supply of homes in McKinney grew 10% this month, with a 1.7 month supply of homes.
