Irving, Texas Home Values report for November 2014

In November 2014, there were 108 homes sold in Irving, a 2% gain from the previous month. Homes sold so far this year rose 0% relative to the same month last year, with 1,588 properties sold this year.

In November 2014, 127 new homes were listed in Irving. New housing properties listed this month in Irving fell 12%. Year-to-date, new houses listed have reached 2,084 overall. New housing properties listed so far this year declined 4% relative to the same period last year. There were 129 listings under contract during November, a 15% surge from a month ago. So far this year, current listings under contract are at 1,660 total, which is a 3% growth compared to the same period last year. The average price for a house in Irving went up 13% in November of this year, the average home sales price being $225,711. The average price for a house was about $236,435 year-to-date, which is a 6% upturn from last year.

Cumulatively this year, buyers received 96.3% of their listed price, which is a 1% surge from last year. During November, buyers got 96.7% of their asking price, which is a 0% growth from a month ago. Year-to-date, homes sold went down 3% relative to the same period last year, at 54 number of days on market until sale. The number of days on market until sale in Irving rose 9%, at 55 number of days on market until sale. There was a 2.4 month supply of houses in November 2014. The month supply of available homes in Irving went down 24% in November of this year.
