Addison, Texas Home Values report for November 2015


Addison houses sold dropped 13% this month, with 112 properties sold in November 2015. In total for this year, home sales dropped 5% relative to the same month last year, with 1,646 properties sold.

Year-to-date there, have been 1,974 new housing listings in all, which is a 10% drop from last year. There were 118 new housing properties listed in November 2015, a 11% increase from a month ago. Year-to-date there have been 1,610 listed houses under contract total, which is a 6% dip from last year. Addison current listings under contract were at 109 properties during November, a 11% decrease from the previous month. Year-to-date, the average home sales price for homes in Addison was about $346,652, which is a 7% gain compared to the same month last year. In November 2015, the average selling price for properties in Addison was about $363,969, which is a 7% increase from a month ago.

Year-to-date, the percentage of asking price received climbed 0% relative to the same period last year, with buyers receiving 97% of their original price. The percentage of original list prices received by buyers this month grew 0%, with percentage of asking price received at 96%. During November, homes spent an average of 35 days in the market until sold, which is a 28% decline from the previous month. So far this year, the number of days on market until sale was about 33 days, which is a 13% drop from a year ago. The market inventory of available homes was 246 homes, a 21% fall from last month.The month supply of homes in Addison dipped 18% in November 2015, with a 1.7 month supply of houses on the market.
